Paul.
What i am saying is that it isn't wrong. Who says gay people have to get married in your church, let alone any church? They have the choice of who they want to marry, not you, not the government, can change that.

It's a good essay,
but I totally disagree with you. Although being able to love whoever you want is considered to be free, would you want your kids to grow up with homosexuals walking around the street. These people might have an influence on other people and more and more people will start to marry the same sex. And plus, when you get married, would you want to be married in the same way that gay people are? Would you want to be known as "bride and groom" or "1st party and second party?" Guys are meant to be guys and girls are meant to be girls. No guy should try to act like a girl just to be gay.(vice versa)

duncan,
i do agree with the fact the GOVERNMENT must be able to marry gays and that they are equal to you and me. the only thing is that i don't think churches who don't believe in gay marriage should be forced to marry someone if its against there beliefs. gays i believe should be able to be married in a court or in a church who supports gay marriage but church and state have to stay separate and the government can't force any religion to do anything and be able to to do what they believe in in that region(1st amendment). I am not discriminating but if you want to have gays be married in a church you should try and convince the church and not use the government to tell the church what to do.
